As Philip Bloom repeats many times in his review of the Panasonic GH4, it's "not a lowlight camera." Well, that's true, it's not an a7s or a C500, but with the right lens selection, and judicious shooting, you can really make the GH4 shine, even in lowlight situations. Here's a test I did shooting in lowlight using my GH4 and my Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 and Vintage Nikon 50 f/1.4 plus the metabones speedbooster. I also cleaned up some of the noise with Neat Video. Sure, the GH4 needs all the help it can to get there, but it can be a lowlight camera.
